June 22nd, according to American journalist Howard Beck, Miami Heat’s star player Jimmy Butler is expected to be traded.
Beck states, “Butler will be on the move, something rival teams have been monitoring for months. The reasoning is clear: he is about to turn 35 and has undergone significant workload and injury concerns.”
In the 2023-24 season, Butler played 60 regular-season games for the Heat, averaging 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. In the playoffs, Butler’s absence due to injury contributed to the Heat’s first-round elimination by the Boston Celtics in a 1-4 series loss.
