Report: Redick Agrees to Four-Year Deal with Lakers, Set to Become Head Coach

June 19 update: According to renowned insider Woj, the Lakers have reached an agreement with Redick, signing him to a four-year contract. Redick is set to become the team’s new head coach.

During his playing career, Redick played for teams like the Magic and the Clippers before transitioning into a role as an ESPN commentator after retiring.

It’s reported that Pelinka extended the offer to him this morning. Redick will gain experience within the coaching staff, with Pelinka placing great emphasis on communication skills and basketball IQ. He is committed to assembling an excellent coaching team to help shorten Redick’s learning curve in his first head coaching job.
