On June 25, according to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, the Chicago Bulls have tendered a qualifying offer to forward Patrick Williams, thus making him a restricted free agent. This allows the Bulls the right to match any offer sheet he signs with another team.
Williams’ rookie contract has now expired. During the 2023-24 season, he appeared in 43 regular-season games, averaging 27.3 minutes, 10 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 44.3% from the field and 39.9% from beyond the arc.
