On July 12th, salary cap expert Keith Smith tallied up the remaining maneuvering space for each NBA team:

Hawks: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Celtics: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Nets: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Hornets: $7.9 million room exception

Cavaliers: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Mavericks: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Nuggets: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Pistons: $13.9 million in cap space

Warriors: $0

Rockets: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Pacers: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Clippers: $3.3 million remaining full mid-level exception

Lakers: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Grizzlies: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Heat: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Bucks: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Timberwolves: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Pelicans: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Knicks: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Thunder: $7.9 million room exception

Magic: $7.9 million room exception

Sixers: $2.1 million veteran’s minimum

Trail Blazers: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Kings: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Spurs: $7.9 million room exception

Raptors: $5.2 million mini mid-level exception

Jazz: $37.7 million in cap space

Wizards: $12.8 million full mid-level exception

Among them, the Jazz have $37.7 million in cap space, leading all teams.

Explanation of the NBA’s salary cap for the 2024-25 season:

Salary Cap — $140.588 million;

Poor Line — $126.529 million;

Luxury Tax Line — $170.814 million;

First Super Tax Line — $178.132 million

Second Super Tax Line — $188.931 million.
