The WNBA officially announced the list of participants for the All-Star three-point contest yesterday.
Dozenson (Mystics), Alisia Gray (Dream), Quayle Jones (Liberty), Maribry (Sol), McBrayer (Cat)
Among them, there was no defending champion Ionescu or the popular rookie Clark, causing a stir.
According to WNBA’s dedicated journalist Doug Feinberg, both Ionescu and Clark received invitations to participate in the three-point contest, but they both declined the invitation. Ionescu is currently participating in training camp with the USA Women’s Basketball team preparing for the Paris Olympics, while the reason for Clark’s refusal is still unknown.
The WNBA three-point contest will be held on July 20 at 9 AM.
