US Men's Basketball Officially Celebrates Kevin Durant Becoming the All-Time Leading Scorer in US Olympic History

On August 7, in today’s Olympic quarterfinal, the US men’s basketball team defeated Brazil 122-87.

Kevin Durant scored 11 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists in the game, bringing his cumulative Olympic total to 494 points. This surpasses the legendary women’s basketball star Lisa Leslie (488 points), making him the all-time leading scorer in US Olympic basketball history.

The US men’s national team officially posted a message to celebrate: When you become the all-time leading scorer in national team Olympic history, you certainly deserve to have the game ball.
