On August 6, in today’s Olympic men’s basketball quarterfinals, Serbia defeated Australia 95-90 in overtime to advance to the semifinals.

According to official FIBA statistics, Serbia’s comeback from a 24-point deficit today is the largest single-game comeback in Olympic basketball history.

In addition, Serbia is the first team to come back and win after trailing by more than 12 points at halftime in an Olympic knockout game.
