On August 28th, news came that in the new season, LeBron James and his son Bronny will both be on the Los Angeles Lakers team. The question of how they should address each other, especially the latter, has been a topic of interest.
Playing alongside his son has always been one of James’ goals. With this moment now approaching, you can believe that James has already handled the entire workplace atmosphere. This even includes how Bronny should address his father on the court or within the Lakers facilities.
This issue has been resolved: under no circumstances can Bronny call him ‘Dad’ while playing with James.
Earlier, James stated, “He can’t call me dad; he must call me ’23’ or ‘LeBron.’ Of course, if he wants, he can also call me ‘GOAT.’ Ultimately, how he addresses me is up to him.”
“We’ve settled it. He can’t call me ‘Dad’ at work. Once we leave the training facility and close the doors, I can be ‘Dad’ again. In the car, we ride together. At home, I can be ‘Dad.'”
James does have a point. If Bronny were to shout ‘Dad, I’m open!’ on the court, it would indeed sound a bit funny.
James has certainly thought of everything.
