On September 7, Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos announced the signing of former NBA player Osman.
Osman played for the Spurs last season, appearing in 72 regular-season games with an average of 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
There were previous reports that the Lakers were interested in signing Osman, but it ultimately did not materialize.
