Warriors Announce Training Camp Roster; Team Will Have to Waive at Least Two Players Before Season Opener

September 30 news, the Golden State Warriors earlier announced their training camp roster for the 2024-25 season. As shown in the accompanying image, the training camp will begin on Tuesday, local time.

Compared to the previously leaked training camp roster, this one has added Blake Hinson, Kevin Knox II, and Jackson Rowe, bringing the total number of people to 20. According to league rules, an NBA team’s training camp roster can accommodate a maximum of 21 players, which then needs to be reduced to 18 (15 standard contract players and 3 two-way contract players) for the regular season.

The Warriors will start their training camp on October 2 (local time) at Brigham Young University-Hawaii in Laie, Oahu. They will play their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Clippers at SimpliFi Arena in Honolulu on October 6. Then they will play two games against the Kings, with the first game on October 10 in Sacramento and the second on October 12 at Chase Center. Following that, the Warriors will host the Detroit Pistons on October 13 and end the preseason with two games against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors’ season opener is on October 24, an away game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
