Media Personnel Compile List of Chinese Players Abroad for New Season: Including Zhao Weilun & Xun Sinan

On August 22, 2023, I posted the first statistical list of overseas players on Weibo. At that time, Chinese basketball was in a low period, and this list attracted the attention of many fans to the overseas players, and also provided some bloggers with clearer tracking of overseas players.

With the spread of information and the pursuit of dreams by players, more and more young people are going abroad. Based on the collection and tracking of information, I have compiled a list of overseas players for the 2024-2025 season. This list includes 55 people, an increase of nearly 12 from the 43 I counted last year. In the next season, there will be 6 male and 2 female players playing in NCAA Division I, 4 male and 1 female in Division II. Everyone can pay close attention to the self-funded players traveling to the United States and the CJK Scholarship students. Additionally, it is a pity that Zhang Chenzhifeng, Xie Liyongwei, and Lan Yilang only stayed abroad for one year before returning to China.

Based on the prediction of players’ future development trajectory, it is expected that by 2026, the number of Chinese male players in NCAA Division I will reach double digits, and this trend will continue to maintain a double-digit presence. The @CJK Basketball Scholarship has made significant contributions to this achievement in Chinese basketball.
