Tyson Fury: I'm in great shape, no issues

In recent days, former two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KO) told the media that he is currently in excellent health and has no concerns. He clarified that his heavy drinking episode two weeks ago was an isolated incident, which would not affect his training or daily life.

Fury said, “A fortnight ago, I let loose and had a bit too much, which led to a fall. But it’s nothing serious. People have been reaching out, asking if I’m alright. I’m an adult, and once in a while getting drunk doesn’t suddenly make me a danger to myself. I understand their concern, given my past behavior. But right now, I’m on vacation, spending quality time with my family. Everything’s perfect.”

Up next for Fury is a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KO) on December 21st. In their first encounter in May, Fury lost by a controversial split decision. This rematch is expected to bring in a purse of $76 million for Fury, while Usyk will earn a staggering $114 million.
