Recently, current WBC Lightweight Champion and three-division world champion Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) told the media that if he fights Vasiliy Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs), it will be the easiest fight of his career so far.
Shakur Stevenson said, “Fighting Lomachenko will be the easiest in my career, as easy as taking something from a child. Lomachenko knows this, which is why he chose George Kambosos Jr. (21-3, 10 KOs). However, I acknowledge Lomachenko as one of the greatest champions and I respect him.”
The 27-year-old Shakur Stevenson has already won world titles in three weight classes – 126, 130, and 135 pounds. Although his style may not be pleasing to watch and he tends to grind out decisions, his level is indeed high, posing a significant threat to both Lomachenko and Davis (30-0, 28 KOs).
