Recently, current WBO interim heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) told the media that he believes former two-time heavyweight king Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will defeat Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) in their December 21st rematch.
“Tyson Fury is an incredibly skilled fighter; he can adapt to anyone, both in training and in actual fights. I trust that he will find the right approach this time around. He was well-prepared for the first fight too, but now he’ll know how to elevate his game. Fury will do his homework before the end of the year. He knows he’ll come back strong and deliver an epic battle. I predict Fury’s successful redemption,” said Joseph Parker.
Parker has a good relationship with Fury, which likely influences his prediction in favor of Fury. Usyk, however, is known for his superior stamina, capable of fighting at a high pace from the first round to the twelfth, giving him a higher margin of error.
