Standing at 6’0″ with a reach of 73 inches, Cobbs has previously secured a dominant 10-round decision over former WBO super lightweight champion Maurice Hooker (28-3-3, 19 KOs), indicating his capability.
In the preceding undercard bout, WBA heavyweight No. 8 contender Michael Hunter (23-1-2, 16 KOs) dominated fellow American and WBA heavyweight No. 7 challenger Cassius Chaney (23-2, 16 KOs), winning all 10 rounds on the scorecards with identical 100-90 tallies.
