KRAFTON has announced a collaboration between PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and NewJeans.
The partnership aims to offer a fresh experience to existing players and strengthen its connection with the younger generation. The crossover between the globally acclaimed FPS game and the trendsetting global sensation is expected to draw significant attention from fans worldwide.
Leading up to this collaboration update, PUBG has released various teasers. In a trailer video published on May 31st, an airdrop box adorned with NJ Tokki descended from the sky, followed by a PUBG signature helmet with rabbit ears and the playful message “Guess who’s coming?!”, sparking curiosity among PUBG enthusiasts.
Additionally, a teaser image released on June 2nd depicted NewJeans members running in a pink-hued PUBG world, capturing attention. The image highlighted the group’s charm and showcased various in-game decorations themed around the PUBG x NewJeans collaboration, including buses, outdoor stages, airplane banners, and airdrop boxes, further fueling anticipation for the collaboration.
PUBG will continue to unveil more teasers and details about the main content updates. The PUBG x NewJeans collaboration will be available on PC starting June 12th.
