According to journalist Mario Cortegana from TA, central defender Reinier Yoro of Lille has informed Real Madrid of his desire to join the club. Lille is reportedly demanding a staggering €60 million for the 18-year-old, while Madrid’s offer stands at around €30-40 million.
The 18-year-old player is reportedly satisfied with the personal terms offered by Real Madrid. If the transfer materializes, he could either join in the summer or wait until next year, depending on whether an agreement can be reached between the two clubs.
Teams like Liverpool, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on Yoro, but most potential suitors believe that regardless of the outcome of the transfer, the French Under-21 international will ultimately sign with Real Madrid.
Last season, Yoro featured in 31 matches for Lille in Ligue 1, establishing himself as a starter at such a young age. He averages 1.2 interceptions per 90 minutes, committing only 0.7 fouls and 0.03 errors. His current market value stands at €50 million, and his contract with Lille expires in the summer of 2023.
