According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Raphael Varane remains a target for Serie A promoted side Como this summer.
It’s reported that on Saturday local time, Varane met with his agent in Italy to discuss the opportunity with Como’s Indonesian representatives. As of July 1st, the French defender will officially become a free agent.
Varane has given himself 10 days to make a decision. Apart from Como, interest also comes from Roma, a Saudi club, and a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Over the next few weeks, Varane will consider and evaluate other proposals.
In his final season at Old Trafford, Varane made 32 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United, scoring a goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2023.
