On June 25, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, 24-year-old Senegalese forward Iliman Ndiaye is set to join Everton.
Romano tweeted, “Iliman Ndiaye to Everton, Here we go! The deal is done at €18.5m plus €1.5m add-ons. Both clubs have accepted, contract to be signed soon.”
Ndiaye has agreed to sign a five-year deal with Everton, despite interest from other Premier League clubs. He had his heart set on joining the Toffees.
The 24-year-old Senegalese international joined Marseille from Sheffield United last summer and made 30 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists. Ndiaye’s current market value on Transfermarkt is €15m.
