According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich’s Dutch center-back Matthijs de Ligt has consented to a summer move to Manchester United, with only an agreement between the two clubs needed for the transfer to proceed.
Romano reveals that while personal terms between De Ligt and Manchester United have not yet been fully agreed upon, it is not expected to be an issue. De Ligt’s agent, Joao Pedro de Menezes Pimentel, is in positive discussions with Manchester United, with the club emerging as the preferred destination.
Currently, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are negotiating the structure of the transfer fee and other related matters. With Bayern set to sign Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen, they are open to selling De Ligt this summer to generate additional funds.
