Premier Portuguese club Benfica has officially announced the signing of Alkmaar forward Pavlidis.
The 25-year-old Pavlidis, a product of the Bochum academy, has previously played for clubs like Willem II. Last season, he featured in 34 Eredivisie matches for Alkmaar, scoring 29 goals and providing 4 assists, earning him the Golden Boot award in the Dutch league.
Pavlidis will join Benfica on a five-year contract, with reports suggesting his transfer fee to be around €17 million with an additional €2 million in performance-related add-ons.
