Romania’s triumph over Belgium to top their group and advance to the knockout stage might have thrilled fans. However, the spotlight was stolen by Romanian reality TV star Asa Gabriela.
The 25-year-old Romanian influencer, with almost a million followers on social media, first gained fame after participating in the Romanian version of “The Voice” in 2015, where she reached the semifinals, kickstarting her career trajectory.
In 2019, she dated then Romania U21 midfielder Dragos Nedelcu, but the couple separated after three years. Speaking about the breakup, she told reporters, “Being a footballer’s woman means you don’t do anything, just follow him, be at home when he comes back from training, have food ready for him, be there by his side. I used to do that, but now I can’t stand it.”
Nonetheless, she has moved on and is currently dating Romanian national team backup goalkeeper Mihai Moldovan, who is 26 and plays for La Liga club Atlético Madrid.
Before the start of this year’s Euros, the reality star posted a picture with her boyfriend on social media, captioning it, “Everything happens for a reason… ❤️!”
