Manchester Evening News: Manchester United not forced to sell players this month due to financial rules

The Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester United do not need to offload any players before the “deadline” (June 30) for clubs to adhere to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

United sources insist they have managed their finances to ensure compliance, and the club does not expect any last-minute departures this week. The club is indeed willing to sell several players this summer, with Sancho and Greenwood topping the list of potential exits.

Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, Hannibal, and Van de Beek are also available for sale, as their contracts expire next year. Hannibal and Van de Beek’s loans to Sevilla and Eintracht Frankfurt in January included buy-out options.

Pereira could make a permanent move away from Granada following his third loan spell in La Liga, with the player’s contract running until 2025, with an option to extend for another year. United believe the 22-year-old Uruguayan international has resale value.

Players potentially up for sale also include McTominay, Maguire, and Amad, whose contracts all run until 2025, but include one-year extension options.
