Reports of “unfriendly Dutch fans” are coming out of Dortmund. According to a fan on Twitter, the attack by the Dutch fans seems to be unprovoked. The Dutch fans “attacked” English fans. For most of the day, supporters saw Dutch and English fans getting along and enjoying their day peacefully. Unfortunately, the ugly side of football fans has reared its head again. Allegedly, Dutch fans attacked English fans in a bar before the match. A group of Dutch fans (reportedly Feyenoord supporters) suddenly targeted the English. The Dutch were attacking English fans all over.
The Dutch FA estimates that at least 80,000 Dutch fans have made their way to Dortmund through various means of transportation. It’s reported that over 75,000 Dutch fans have already arrived in Dortmund.
