The official announcement from Juventus confirms the extension of Fabio Miretti’s contract until 2028.
In an official statement, Juventus writes: After more than a decade of growth within our youth academy, it’s finally time for him to join the first team. Now, this midfielder, born in 2003, will remain even more firmly anchored to the Bianconeri.
Since joining Juventus’ youth system in 2011, Miretti’s talent has quickly garnered attention and recognition. In the 19/20 season, he became one of the key players in the U17 team, scoring 15 goals in just 17 matches before the league was suspended due to the pandemic.
He also demonstrated exceptional talent and qualities in U19 competitions, which led to his inclusion in Juventus’ new generation, where he even served as captain at times.
Miretti made his first-team debut on December 8, 2021, in a Champions League match against Malmo. On March 20, 2022, he made his Serie A debut against Salernitana.
Last season, Miretti made a total of 28 appearances, 25 of which were in the league, and scored his first Serie A goal away against Fiorentina.
Congratulations, Fabio! New challenges await!
