Brazilian Serie A club Vasco da Gama officially announced that veteran player Teixeira has returned to the team and signed a contract for one and a half years.
The 34-year-old Teixeira started his career at Vasco da Gama and also played for Chinese Super League’s Jiangsu FC, helping the team win the 2020 Chinese Super League title. After leaving the Chinese Super League, Teixeira briefly joined Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş and returned to Vasco da Gama in 2022.
