On July 17, Al-Hilal Riyadh officially released a series of photos featuring Neymar’s rehabilitation training.
Neymar joined Al-Hilal Riyadh last summer for a transfer fee of €90 million. However, during the South American qualifiers for the World Cup in October last year, Neymar suffered an injury in Brazil’s match against Uruguay. Post-match diagnosis confirmed that he had torn his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus. Neymar has since undergone surgery and is currently in the recovery phase. To date, he has only made five appearances for the team, contributing one goal and three assists.
During his vacation, Neymar watched Copa America matches. However, Brazil was defeated by Uruguay in the quarterfinals on penalties, ending their campaign in the last eight.
Following the end of his vacation, Neymar returned to Saudi Arabia this Tuesday to continue his rehabilitation training.
