On July 9, Juventus officially said goodbye to Moise Kean, who will be permanently transferring to Fiorentina.
The transfer fee is set at 鈧?3 million, to be paid over four financial years. Additionally, there is a potential variable bonus of up to 鈧? million. After deducting ancillary costs, the economic impact of this transaction for the current financial year amounts to 鈧?.3 million.
The 23-year-old forward, who was reunited with Juventus in August 2021, is once again bidding farewell.
To trace Kean’s story in the black and white stripes, we need to go back to 2010 when Juventus signed him from Torino. Kean worked his way up through the youth ranks, making it into the first team under Allegri during the 2016/17 season. On November 19, 2016, at just 16 years old, Kean made his Serie A debut, soon followed by his Champions League debut. The following season saw Kean loaned out to Verona before returning to Juventus, eventually transferring to Everton in the summer of 2019, thus concluding the first chapter of his black and white tale.
In the 2020/21 season, Kean joined Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 17 goals for the French side before returning to Everton. At the end of the summer transfer window, Juventus re-signed Kean, intertwining their destinies once more.
From the 2021/22 season to date, Kean has scored a total of 14 goals wearing the Juventus jersey. Among players who have scored 10 goals for Juventus in the last three league seasons, only Milik’s record (11 goals in 2483 minutes) surpasses Kean’s (11 goals in 2728 minutes).
Now, he is embarking on a new chapter, an undoubtedly significant step in the Italian player’s career.
