On July 14th, Spain will face England in the final of the European Championship. Ahead of the match, Spanish head coach De La Fuente attended a press conference.
Speaking about the final, De La Fuente stated, “This is a final, which means it will be a closely matched and fiercely contested game. Such matches often hinge on tiny details, and the team that makes fewer mistakes will win.”
When asked what demands he had placed on his players, De La Fuente said, “Sometimes I feel like I ask too much of them, so for this game, I won’t particularly demand that they achieve anything specific. I’ll tell them to claim what’s rightfully theirs and simply enjoy the game.”
“We’ll approach the final with a level head. There are no favorites to win this match, but we know that if we don’t perform up to our standard, victory will elude us.”
