According to the As newspaper, Sevilla hope to secure a loan deal for 21-year-old Barcelona forward Ansu Fati. They believe that Fati will leave the team after the end of their US tour.
After returning from his loan at Brighton, Fati rejoined the Barcelona first team, with his contract set to expire in June 2027. Currently, it appears that both Fati and Vitinho Roque are players that Barcelona must offload. The club’s top priority this summer is to sign Dani Olmo and Nico Williams, who will join Yamal and Lewandowski as regular starters. Further down the pecking order are Ferran Torres and Raphinha.
In Fati’s case, Barcelona hope that loaning him out would save them a significant portion of his salary, but Sevilla’s offer is very low. Nevertheless, Barcelona will respect the player’s decision, and Fati can freely choose his destination.
