UK Resident: Living Next to the Wolves Training Ground – Headaches from Abuse and Music

UK Resident: Living Next to the Wolves Training Ground - Headaches from Abuse and MusicOn July 20, residents near the training ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) complained that the noise and disturbance caused by the club’s training sessions have become unbearable.

The Wolves training facility is located in Compton Park, adjacent to a luxury residential area where house prices are astonishingly high, with an average property value of £430,000. The club named this training ground the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground, which has been in operation since 2005 and features five pitches.

Residents living close to the Wolves training ground have expressed their dissatisfaction with the club’s disruption. One resident said, “Parents of youth players park haphazardly across the street, making it difficult for us to find parking spaces. I have complained to the city council several times.” Another resident commented, “Music from the training ground can go on all day, even until 9 PM. I’ve complained three times to the council about how loud it is!” Others stated, “If you’re close enough, you can hear the players shouting and swearing. It’s terrible, considering there’s a school nearby.”
