Kylian Mbappé Officially Reports to Real Madrid: Awaits Debut in the UEFA Super Cup and Seeks First Title Win

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, after seven years of waiting, the “Kylian Mbappé era” at Real Madrid has finally begun. The French football prodigy has arrived in the Spanish capital, Madrid, and shared a photo of himself on social media.

On August 7, Mbappé will step onto Real Madrid’s training ground for the first time to begin his pre-season preparations. His goal is singular: to lift his first trophy with Real Madrid.

“I’m confident that I can play in the UEFA Super Cup, but whether or not I’ll start is ultimately up to the coach. I’m ready, and this title means a lot to me. I’m eager to play, but it’s a decision for the coach to make,” Mbappé stated.

Currently, Carlo Ancelotti is leading the team in commercial matches in the United States and has welcomed new signings: “In my view, players who helped us win the Champions League should be playing in the UEFA Super Cup. Only Nacho and Kroos are absent.” Both players have left the club.

Seven Real Madrid players did not participate in the training camp in the U.S.: Valverde, Carvajal, Camavinga, Mbappé, Mendy, Bellingham, and Tchouaméni. Due to their participation in the European Championship or Copa América, they did not have the opportunity to play any friendly matches before the game against Atalanta.

However, according to Marca, the coaching staff had prepared individual training programs for them, which they started following 15 days before their first team training session. This ensured that all players were in an equal position to compete. “This is different from previous pre-seasons. Now, the players are ready and able to compete at any time.”

The 25-year-old Mbappé is already tired of the “small achievements” he made domestically with Paris Saint-Germain. He played alongside Neymar and Messi, aiming to establish European dominance, but the dream never came true. Despite having a star-studded squad, PSG was unable to win the Champions League, as the supporting players couldn’t match the level of competition against strong opponents. In contrast, Real Madrid boasts both collective strength and team unity. Mbappé hopes to fulfill his dreams of winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or with the Spanish club.
