August 5th – The swimming events at the 2024 Paris Olympics have come to an end. The Chinese Swimming Team has won a total of 2 golds, 3 silvers, and 7 bronze medals, making up 12 medals in all. Today, athletes from the Chinese Swimming Team collectively posted messages bidding farewell to the Paris Olympics.
@Pan Zhanle: My 20th birthday gift, I fulfilled the promise I made a year ago by winning a team gold medal for my birthday. After nine days of intense Olympic competition, it’s finally time to take a break. With a record of 2 golds and 1 silver, I’m pretty satisfied! A new journey has already begun, and I’ve set new goals quietly. I hope to make even greater contributions to the team. The Chinese Swimming Team is always the best!
@Qin Haiyang: Failure is indeed scary, but when we stand up again, we will become invincible once more! Thank you to the whole team for maintaining their unwavering trust in me… Unsheathing the old sword once more, its chill gleam as fierce as in years past! We’ve got this!!
@Xu Jiayu: On the last day, my dream was realized in Paris. As the national anthem played and the flag rose, I recalled what Coach Xu told me. I teared up, grateful to Coach Xu and Senior Cai Li (Coach Cai) for their meticulous guidance over the past four years, and to leaders at all levels for their trust and support. Thank you to the Chinese Swimming Team! Thank you to the Chinese Men’s Dream Team! Our story continues. Thanks~
@Wang ShunSteve: The path is long and arduous, but if we keep going, we will arrive; if we never stop, there is hope for the future. My fourth Olympic journey has come to an end today. I gave it my all, and I’m content with the bronze medal. There are no regrets. With my humble efforts, I aim to contribute to Chinese swimming. The Chinese Swimming Team is always an unbreakable team.
@Ye Shiwen: My third Olympic journey has ended in this city that I love. Thank you for accompanying me on this imperfect yet romantic journey. I feel very happy and content. This time, I truly savored every match. All I gained, no regrets. See you at the next competition.
