On Sunday, local time, Inter Milan player Taremi gave an interview to the team’s sponsor, Betsson Sport. When asked what he would have done if he hadn’t pursued football, Taremi replied, “When I was a child, I used to play soccer with my brother and his friends in my hometown of Bushehr. Even though I was young, I was happy to train with them. I follow volleyball and the NBA, but I never participated in any other sports. If I hadn’t become a footballer, I think I would have become a police officer, possibly even a detective.”
The 32-year-old Taremi joined Inter Milan on a free transfer from Porto this summer. During his four seasons at Porto, Taremi made 182 appearances, scoring 91 goals and providing 56 assists. Taremi’s arrival may increase Inter Milan’s firepower in the new season.
