According to British media outlet The Mirror, following the successful signings of two new players, Manchester United’s rebuild is proceeding in an orderly manner. A number of players, including Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Antony, and Wan-Bissaka, have been given permission to negotiate with other clubs.
After changes in some of the club’s upper management, Manchester United has been quite active during this summer transfer window. They have already signed two new players, including the acquisition of Rezi Ghosh for £36.5 million and Youri for £52 million. Additionally, Mason Greenwood has successfully transferred to French Ligue 1 side Marseille, along with the departures of Raphaël Varane and Anthony Martial, indicating a significant scale of rebuilding at Manchester United.
However, Greenwood will not be the last player to leave Manchester United this summer. Players such as Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay, and Christian Eriksen all have only one year remaining on their contracts, and Manchester United is willing to listen to offers from other clubs for these players. Both McTominay and Maguire have already attracted interest from several teams.
Furthermore, Casemiro and Antony are also targets for departure. Casemiro has been linked with a move to a Saudi Arabian team, and for Antony, Manchester United is willing to loan him out if his wages are covered by another club.
Up until now, including the club’s leadership, there is considerable satisfaction with Manchester United’s transfer window operations, but the club’s rebuilding process has only just begun.
