About his initial impressions of Juventus

This is a crucial stage of the season, and we need to prepare thoroughly and maintain our competitiveness.

About criticism

Criticism is part of the job, and as a coach, you have to accept it. Vlahović is an excellent player, but even talented players need a team. His individual abilities will only stand out when the team functions well. I believe he, along with others, will have a great season, and I have no doubt about that.

About the players

Diallo is an excellent captain. He needs a few extra days of rest to regain his fitness. Hopefully, he will return soon and give us a boost. Two days ago, I met Ildiz. People tell me he is a great guy. He can play in any position if he wants to, and there’s no issue with his ability. Miretti is a good player with a lot of room for improvement. Luis is a Brazilian international who just had a great season. Depending on the team’s needs, he will have to play in different positions.

About the team tactics for the new season

I will think about this game by game. What’s important is that we bring energy to each match. Nothing else matters. I don’t care about anyone’s role; even midfielders need to be able to attack and defend. Only the best-performing players will have a fixed spot, and everyone else’s position will be flexible.

About opportunities for youth academy players

Youth academy players will significantly contribute to us. There will be 23-24 players available for the starting lineup, so there will be fierce competition among them. Regarding Azic, I don’t care much about age. The ability he has shown makes me happy. He has excellent physical attributes, outstanding technique, strong willpower, and trains hard. My first impression is that he will become an important player.
