According to Japanese media outlet Sports Nippon, Liverpool are interested in signing Takefusa Kubo and have already prepared a bid of €65 million.
The report states that Liverpool are willing to offer Takefusa Kubo an annual salary of £12 million (approximately €14.23 million). Should this transfer go through, both the transfer fee and the annual salary would set new records for Japanese players.
In the 23/24 season, Takefusa Kubo made a combined total of 41 appearances for Real Sociedad across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
