MLB’s Houston Astros officially announced that the team has traded for Toronto Blue Jays’ Japanese pitcher Yusei Kikuchi.
The 33-year-old Yusei Kikuchi landed in the MLB in 2019, serving the Seattle Mariners for his first three seasons, before moving to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2022. To date, he has a record of 36 wins and 46 losses with one save. This season, he made 22 starts for the Blue Jays, securing 4 wins and 9 losses with an ERA of 4.75.
The Astros currently have a record of 55 wins and 50 losses, leading the AL West by half a game over the Mariners.
