According to Der Spiegel, the Munich local court issued only a warning to Boateng for assaulting his ex-partner. If he commits another offense, he would have to pay a fine of 200,000 euros.
Boateng would only have to pay this amount if he ignores the court’s instructions and commits another crime. He was also ordered to donate a total of 100,000 euros to charity.
Boateng denied assaulting his ex-partner during a holiday in 2018. His ex-partner’s lawyer accused him of using violence. The Munich local court brought charges in 2019, and the case against Boateng dragged on for years.
