The women’s singles champion in table tennis will be decided today. Chinese players Sun Yingsha and Chen Meng have successfully advanced to the final, and it will be exciting to see who takes home the gold!

The women’s singles final in tennis begins at 6 PM today. Chinese player Zheng Qinwen faces Croatia’s Donna Vekić. She secured her spot in the gold medal match by defeating world No. 1 Iga Świątek in the semifinals, setting a new record for China in Olympic singles tennis.

The women’s doubles gold in badminton will be decided today, with both Chinese pairs, Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan and Liu Shengshu/Tan Ning, advancing to the final. This guarantees that China will take both the gold and silver in this event. The quarterfinal in women’s singles will feature a clash between He Bingjiao and Chen Yufei.

The women’s basketball group stage reaches its final round. After losing their first two matches, the Chinese team faces Puerto Rico at 5 PM. They must win by a significant margin to maintain any hope of advancing to the knockout rounds.

The swimming competition enters its penultimate day, with China set to compete in the mixed 4x100m medley relay final in the early hours of the next morning.

In shooting, Chinese athlete Zhao Nan qualified for the women’s 25m air pistol final with a score of 586 rings, ranking fifth in the preliminaries. The final is scheduled for 3:30 PM today.

The Olympic women’s football tournament moves into the quarterfinals, with Brazil taking on host France and Japan facing the United States.
