On August 6, The Daily Mail tallied up the playing time of U21 players for all 20 Premier League teams during the 2023-24 season. Manchester United’s U21 players logged a total of 4,919 minutes on the pitch, ranking first among all Premier League clubs.

Manchester United was the most willing to give young players opportunities among Premier League teams. Two key players, Meunou (1,939 minutes) and Garnacho (2,573 minutes), received significant playing time for their development. Despite finishing only eighth last season and failing to qualify for the Champions League, the young players gained valuable experience. This has generated new expectations for the Red Devils’ upcoming season.
