According to Spanish media outlet DefensaCentral, Fiorentina is seriously considering the acquisition of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa.
Fiorentina believes that with only one year left on Kepa’s contract with Chelsea, an offer of 5 million euros should be sufficient to secure his transfer. However, the main issue with signing Kepa is his salary demands, as his current post-tax earnings at Chelsea are around 9 million euros.
Previously, Fiorentina had been in contact with former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, who has been out of work for a year. The deal fell through due to de Gea’s high salary demands.
Regarding other signings, Fiorentina is actively pursuing the transfer of Genoa forward Gudmundsson and Venice midfielder Tesman.
