Gymnastics Men’s Team Final: China Claims Silver, Japan Takes Gold

At 23:00 on July 29th, in the men’s team final of artistic gymnastics at the Paris Olympics, China fielded Liu Yang, Xiao Ruoteng, Zhang Boheng, Su Weide, and Zou Jingyuan.

In the first round, China competed in the floor exercise with Xiao Ruoteng, Zhang Boheng, and Su Weide, scoring a total of 42.532 points.

In the second round, Zou Jingyuan, Zhang Boheng, and Xiao Ruoteng competed in the pommel horse, bringing their total to 86.098 points after two rounds.

In the third round, Zou Jingyuan, Zhang Boheng, and Liu Yang participated in the still rings, and after three rounds, their total score was 131.364 points, placing them first ahead of the United States.

In the fourth round, Xiao Ruoteng, Zhang Boheng, and Su Weide competed in the vault, maintaining their lead with a total of 173.463 points, continuing to rank first.

Unfortunately, Su Weide made two falls during the competition. In the end, China finished with a total score of 259.062 points, earning the silver medal in the men’s team event.
