The Manchester Evening News reports that the injuries sustained by Eneyi Joro and Hoylett will not alter Manchester United’s plans for arrivals and departures in the transfer window.

Manchester United confirmed that new signing, young center-back Joro, suffered a metatarsal fracture during last week’s 2-1 loss against Arsenal and will be sidelined for three months. Hoylett will also be out for six weeks due to a hamstring injury.

In addition to Joro, Manchester United are looking to bring in two more center-backs, including Branswither from Everton, whose two bids have been rejected, as well as De Ligt from Bayern Munich, with whom they have already reached a personal agreement.

Manchester United are attempting to sell Lindelöf, as his contract expires next year. The plan to sell McTominay remains unchanged; part of the reason he was not sold last year was due to Mene’s four-month absence due to an ankle injury.

When asked whether recent injuries would accelerate United’s recruitment plans, Ten Hag replied, “No, no. It won’t change who leaves or stays, it won’t change anything. We have a plan and we’ll stick to this plan.”
