Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has ruled out a swift return to coaching and explicitly stated that he will not be the next coach of England.
Klopp said, “In terms of work, I haven’t received any offers at all. I haven’t been in contact with any clubs or national teams.”
However, when the host mentioned that Euro runners-up England might have an interest in him, he responded, “If I were to say ‘I would make an exception for this,’ it would be the biggest embarrassment in football history.”
“I will do something. I’m still young; I can’t just play cricket or babysit my grandchildren. As for returning to coaching? At the moment, I would rule that out. We’ll see how things look in a few months. For now, I’m not considering coming back to the touchline anytime soon.”
