The venue for the shooting events is in Châteauroux, which is quite far from downtown Paris. Travel by train takes about two hours, while by car it requires at least three hours. Due to the distance, members of the Chinese shooting team and their coaches are not staying in the Olympic Village but rather at an officially designated base near the shooting range. The Chinese shooting team has already arrived in Châteauroux in batches and is steadily preparing for the competition.

The Chinese shooting team continues to bear the responsibility of winning the first gold medal at these Olympics. At the Paris Olympics, the first gold medal will be awarded in the mixed air rifle event.
