LAFC has officially announced that their defender, Mamadou Fall, has permanently transferred to Barcelona.
The 21-year-old Senegalese player, Fall, is no stranger to La Liga, having been loaned to Villarreal’s reserve team for the 2022-23 season. As one of the top young players in Major League Soccer, Fall scored five goals and provided one assist in 36 regular-season games (starting in 30 of them).
Last September, Mamadou Fall was loaned to Barcelona, where he made 22 appearances for the B team, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Barcelona was pleased with his performance and opted to sign him permanently.
