Pobega came through the ranks at Milan, previously experiencing several loan spells, and gradually became a regular in the Milan squad since the 22/23 season. However, midway through last season, Pobega underwent surgery due to an injury, which kept him out for several months, causing him to lose the stable position he had just established. He is now no longer part of new Milan coach Fonseca’s plans.

The report states that Pobega will join Bologna on a loan deal with a purchase obligation, which will be triggered at the end of this season, at which time he will officially transfer to become a Bologna player. The two clubs have reached an agreement on all aspects of the transfer, and Pobega will soon undergo a medical examination before the official announcement of his move.

Notably, current Bologna head coach Thiago Motta previously worked with Pobega at Spezia, and the two will now reunite once again.
