Ligue 1’s opening match saw Paris striker Ramos suffer an ankle injury that will keep him out for three months. In response, L’Équipe has published an article today highlighting a list of five potential replacements for Ramos.
The five candidates are: Osimhen, Lukaku, David, Depay, and Cunha.
Among them, Osimhen is the player most closely linked with Paris, with the club having made multiple offers to Napoli this summer for the Nigerian forward, but no agreement was reached due to differences over the transfer fee.
Depay and Lukaku are more cost-effective options, with the former currently available on a free transfer, while the latter is not in Chelsea’s plans, allowing Paris to consider signing him on loan.
While David and Cunha could serve as long-term options for Paris’ attack, both their current clubs have set high prices, making it challenging for Paris to sign them.
