August 31 – Fenerbahçe has officially announced that Fiorentina midfielder Amrabat has joined the Turkish Süper Lig side on loan. The total fee for the loan and buyout option amounts to 18 million euros.
The 28-year-old Amrabat, who came through the youth system at Utrecht, has since played for Feyenoord, Club Brugge, Verona, and Fiorentina. He was loaned to Manchester United last season, where he made 30 appearances including 17 starts, without scoring any goals or providing assists. Currently, his market value is 22 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
Fenerbahçe is currently coached by former Manchester United manager José Mourinho. Amrabat and Mourinho will face their former club in the Europa League.
